Construction of “Decco Centre” has been completed
Less than a year after commencement, the construction works of the “Decco Centre” in Katlakalna street 6d have been completed. The first, biggest stage of the object was completed already in December, and the second stage will be commissioned for operation in February. Another detached building with the area of 1500 m2 was constructed; it will accommodate five saloon stores. SIA “Merks” was the Designer and the Main Contractor of the “Decco Centre” project.
“This is yet another project, with the construction of which “Merks” company has proven our ability to implement projects within the promised terms, even when we are pressed for time. We are pleased that both the “Merks” team and our cooperation partners have demonstrated their professionalism and the fact that we were able to implement the customer’s intentions within the planned deadline,” says Oskars Ozolins, the chairman of the board of “Merks”.
The building complex, which includes saloon stores with individual entrances, offices and warehouses, occupies an area of 13 500 square meters, and roughly 65% of the total area were assigned to stores and offices, while 35% – to the warehouses. Around 10 million euros were invested in the development of the biggest interior and design item complex in the Baltic. The construction was very quick – the works at the site were started in2017 and the first stores welcomed visitors as early as in December.
