Great Amber Concert Hall is the Popular Choice Winner in international architectural competition

The Great Amber Concert Hall in Liepaja designed by Austrian architect Volker Giencke received the Popular Choice Award in the prestigious architectural competition Architizer A+ Awards in the hall/theatre category. In this category  Great Amber was one of the nominees competing with 4 other projects from China, Norway and Poland. Each year finalists are chosen by international jury which consists of 300 professionals in their field.

Great Amber construction by SIA Merks started in August 2013 and was completed in August 2015.
