Second stage of “Gaiļezera nami” has been commissioned for operation

Three nine-storey buildings of the second stage of the project “Gaiļezera nami”, accommodating 96 apartments in total, have been commissioned for operation. The project is developed by the construction company “Merks”. The second stage features 2-4 room apartments with area ranging from 64-109 m2 and facilitated territory. In total the project comprises 192 fully finished apartments.

“Reservation and sales figures show that people appreciate the project and the opportunities it provides, and the neighbourhood, choosing it as their new home. Apartment buyers in Riga increasingly acknowledge both quality construction and comfort of urban infrastructure, at the same time wishing to be closer to nature,” mentions Chairman of the Board “Merks” Oskars Ozoliņš.

“Considering market demand, in the second stage buildings we are offering more three-room apartments, both spacious and compact. Apartments in this project are especially suited for families with children, as they provide space for wardrobes and particularly large in-built wall closets. In the more spacious apartments there are two sanitary rooms. The territory accommodates several children’s playgrounds, footbridge along the lake, recreational zones and parking spaces”, says Real estate development director of “Merks” Mikus Freimanis. “We have come half-way towards our clients and offer rent with purchase rights, which facilitates purchase of the apartment. This allows people to live in a new apartment, without worrying about down-payment. More than half of the apartments in this project have already been sold or reserved.”

The project buildings have large windows and glazed balconies, which allows using them regardless of the weather. The buildings are rated with high (B class) energy efficiency and the external walls are insulated with 21 cm thick rockwool layer. Heating is provided by AS “Rīgas Siltums”; each apartment has an individual heating meter and adjustable heating elements. For the convenience of residents there are common-use premises constructed on the first floors for storing baby prams and bicycles. It is also possible to purchase individual storage premises and closed parking spaces.

Apartment prices in “Gaiļezera nami” range from 1377-1781 EUR/m2 depending on the building, floor and layout, and it is possible to use “Altum” housing guarantee program to finance the purchase of the apartment.
