Lielais Dzintars (The Great Amber) has been commissioned

The Multifunctional Centre Giant Amber with an acoustic concert hall located in the centre of Liepaja that had been constructed during two years was commissioned on 12 August 2015. The multifunctional centre houses Emilis Melngailis Liepaja Music College and Liepaja Symphony Orchestra. The large concert hall provides 1,080 seats for visitors, while the chamber hall – 200 seats. It is suitable for classical music, rock music and pop music concerts, as well as visual and dance art events.
